An arboretum is a place devoted to growing trees and other woody perennials for educational, scientific and other purposes in a manner producing a pleasing park like landscape.
The South Innisfil Arboretum is located at 1474 Shore Acres Drive and the 20th Sideroad in Gilford and the gates are open from May 1st to October 15th.

The Arboretum is a perfect place to go for a walk to see how the trees change with the seasons, enjoy the smells and watch the birds, the foxes, the deer and all the other animals frolic in the park -
to have a picnic - the picnic tables and the benches are already there for your enjoyment or -
to visit our flower beds - perennial, grass and Water Wise.
You can book a date to have important pictures taken among the trees e.i. wedding, family and others or -
arrange for a guided tour for school children or other groups.
